These are the eight basic words for color. Hover over any one of them to see the English translation and the Mandarin Chinese pronunciation.

They could be Chinese character icon flashcards, if you wish ;)

Ah, that's true... although if I were to be asked how to say "green" in Chinese, I would probably most likely reply with 绿 first.

(Then again, even though my parents and grandparents all speak Chinese, I'm still far from fluent. ^^;;)
